Record turnout at the CoPSO Conference
Over 90 Search Code subscribers attending the Conference on 15th March, with representatives from companies large to small.
CoPSO Chairman, James Sherwood-Rogers, welcomed everyone and gave an update on the work that CoPSO has been doing over the last year and plans for the future.
There was a change of format for the PCCB where everyone was given a case study to work on to identify all the errors in the search. It was a fully interactive session throwing up all sorts of questions. They then covered all the main changes and updates since the last conference back in 2016. All Compliance Notes and Bulletins are available for members to download from the 'Resources' Section.
Chairman, Kate Davies, and Board member Angela Newton were also on hand, and fellow Board member, Kate Faulkner, gave a presentation on 'What's happening in the property market'. This tied in well with Matt Prior from MHCLG on the Government's recent 'Call for Evidence'. Other presenters included Graham Farrant, CEO at HM Land Registry and an Ordnance Survey update from Nick Carey.
